Detailed Shark Tank product reviews
Some of the best and most highly successful products to come from Shark Tank are face creams! It might be surprising, since there are so many utilitarian products that cover pretty much all walks of life, such as food, home improvement, weight loss, car accessories, and more. Here is an in-depth review of some of the top-rated Shark Tank wrinkle creams, lotions, and other skincare products to come out from ABC’s hit TV show!
Full disclosure: Skin care products reviewed here either appeared on Shark Tank or recommended by us and should’ve appeared on the show in our opinion. All opinions presented on this page of our own and should not substitute medical advice. We may receive a small commission for purchases made through these links.:
Although not a face cream, AngelLift should be mentioned here as it produces the same desired results as anti-ageing creams. Entrepreneurs Kelly and Aaron Bruce pitched AngelLift to the Sharks in season 5, as a non-surgical, non-injection, prosthetic alternative to face lifts. QVC Queen Lori Greiner saw AngelLift as the perfect infomercial product, and made a deal with the pair.
As we age, gums recede and skin loses its elastic properties. This causes a wrinkling around the mouth and cheeks. Skin reacts quickly to being lifted from beneath the surface, which creates smoother, younger, and tighter looking skin. AngelLift is comprised of a soft, flexible Dermastrips, manufactured from a special, surgical grade resin. These Dermastrips help replace the pressure lost as gums naturally recede.
The Dermastrip, when placed in the mouth beneath the wrinkled facial skin, offers a non-invasive way to lift out lower lines and wrinkles. This sub-dermal technology adds volume under the skin in a natural and painless way. The entrepreneurial duo have conducted extensive research when developing AngelLift, and the product is currently patent pending with third-party clinical trials. However, it is stated that improvement is significant over 30 days. Their initial test market saw over $3 million in sales. This product genuinely seems to work to reduce facial lines and wrinkles.
Not sure what a pressed serum was? Most Shark Tank viewers didn’t know either until this product was introduced. It turns out that pressed serums are ultra-concentrated regular serums packages in a firm, gelatinous solid form. It might be difficult to apply the first time you use it, as “warming” it up with your fingers, as you would scoop out other lotions or creams with your fingertips. Luckily, the serum comes with a mini spatula to help you apply it. Just one pea sized amount of this pressed treatment will be more than enough to cover your whole face and neck. Gently pat on for the best results after your usual washing, cleansing, and toning routine.
This serum combines the best aspects of moisturizers and essential oils. The “tundra” part of the name comes from the fact that the Chaga mushrooms, whose extract is the main ingredient in the serum, are harvested directly from those wintry deserts. The mushroom extract is cooled, not heated, to avoid evaporation or elimination of the natural nutrients, and mixed with a variety of lightweight, natural fermented oils including argan oil and olive oil. There are no parabens, mineral oils, unnatural fragrances, or synthetic dyes in the Blithe Tundra Chaga Pressed Serum.
The serum has been proven to comfort, moisturize, brighten, and nourish your skin, despite its remarkably lightweight, silky smooth formula. Apply in the morning for a youthful glow that lasts all day, or use it at night to wake up with rejuvenated skin after it works its magic as your body rests and resets itself. Users of the Blithe Chaga Tundra Serum report brighter, healthier skin after just a few uses!
Okay, so hear us out on this one. It’s technically not a face cream so much as a line of body lotions and health sprays made directly for kids! Developed by two sisters, Madison and Mallory Boyd, and their mother Viara Boyd, this dynamic duo saw a need for young kids to express themselves in a hygienic way, especially for kids who don’t yet like the heavy scents of so-called grown-up cologne, perfumes, serums, and more. The aspiring entrepreneurs originally asked for a $55,000 investment at 20% equity, and while all of the Sharks were interested in the products and the fun scents, most of them didn’t realistically see the line taking off. The team was awarded a $60,000 investment at 33% equity, and ever since then, the Angels and Tomboys line has been going strong.
Designed especially for sensitive, youthful skin, these lotions and sprays are made specifically with all-natural, all-vegan, cruelty-free ingredients and no harsh chemicals such as parabens. Ingredients include aloe vera, shea butter, vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin E, and more, so you might recognize some of your favorite all-natural oils and vitamins from other products and even foods. In any case, the best part of these lotions and sprays are their unique, humorous, and totally kid-friendly scents. Names of scents include Candy Star Glam, Frozen Hot Chocolate, Peanut Butter Jelly Team, Rockin’ Blueberry, Deep-fried Ice Cream, Watermelon Funk, Lemonade Doughnuts, Cotton Candied Apples, and even Monkey Farts. Even the pickiest kids will find a scent they like, with variations ranging from sweet to fruity, but without the overwhelming musk and flower scents of scents geared towards adults.
Hugo and Debra Saavedra were a pair of organic farmers, chefs, and menu consultants for various restaurant chains. Eventually their history of preparing food with flowers and other herbs, the duo began to explore other options of using these plants, such as making scrubs, soaps, and creams, all carefully created with a balance of plant extracts, natural botanical glycerin, butters, and nourishing essential oils. The 100% natural skin care products, all of which are completely food-grade and edible, were popular at local farmers’ markets.
Before the husband and wife entered the Shark Tank, they had built up a soap company in the past, but unfortunately, due to inexperience, had lost controlling interest. When they came on the show, they were seeking $220,000 at 10% equity, claiming that their products would be different from anything they had ever seen, felt, or tasted. Some of the Sharks weren’t crazy about the product, especially when they sampled some bite-sized pieces. Most of the Sharks believed the soap business was too competitive, but Barbara offered a $200,000 investment at 40% equity. Despite the huge jump, the husband and wife pair accepted, and they got the support they needed to get this innovative skin-food line off the ground!
There are a variety of different product lines from Saavy Naturals, including bar soaps, body washes, shampoos, exfoliating body scrubs, and classic creams. All come in a variety of different scents that arise naturally from the organic ingredients. Some of the body cream ingredients include passionflower, horsetail, willow bark, marshmallow extract, and more. The creams are remarkably lightweight and absorbable, leaving no greasy residue on your skin. Each product is handmade, only in small batches to keep the ingredients fresh, and animal lovers will be happy to know that the plant sourced ingredients are all vegan, cruelty-free, and even gluten free. Without any artificial preservatives, these products will stay fresh for a year after you open them and, if you leave them sealed, they’ll stay fresh for up to three years! You can check on the expiration date that comes with each package – they are food, after all.
The Whamisa product line is the brainchild of Christine Chang and Sarah Lee, owners of the online store called Glow Recipe, which launched in the fall of 2014. In the winter of 2015, the pair entered the Shark Tank to pitch their skincare and beauty products to the sharks. Sarah and Christine both spend several years working for L’Oréal in Korea before relocating to the United States where they remained heavily involved in the United States beauty industry, working in both marketing as well as product development. The pair’s goal is to bring natural yet effective Korean beauty and skincare products to the North American market. Glow Recipe sales skyrocketed after their appearance on Shark Tank, as Korean beauty techniques are hailed as some of the most reliable out there.
So what is the Whamisa Organic Flowers Olive Leaf Mist? Okay, so as the name suggests, this one isn’t a cream either, but rather a refreshing mist designed to hydrate and instantly calm tired, dry skin, though it can certainly improve the health and appearance of all skin types. Featuring 92.5% natural ingredients, the water-free formula blends aloe vera, olive extract, and green tea extract – all fermented naturally – to soothe skin. Simply spritz on after you’ve washed your face with your favorite cleanser, let dry for a few minutes, and follow up with a moisturizer for best results. Even after you’ve applied a full face of makeup, this portable mist can be used throughout the day to touch up whenever you feel your face needs a refresher.
Another product from Christine Chang and Sarah Lee’s Korean skincare and face cream line, the Whamisa Sea Kelp Sheet Mask is proven to brighten skin, hydrate the face, and minimize the size and appearance of pores, wrinkles, and fine lines. The all-natural sea kelp sheet mask is stored in naturally fermented sea kelp and bamboo serum, both of which have been used to brighten and moisturize the face naturally. After your usual face washing routine, simply unfold the sheet mask and lay it over your face. Pat gently with your fingertips to set the mask in place, and after 15 minutes, you can peel it off. The sea kelp sheet mask will leave a thin layer of botanical extract on the skin, which can be simply blended into the skin with the pads of your fingers.

According to health stats, nearly 160 million American men and women are considered overweight.
Combined with low metabolism rate, it would feel impossible to lose weight since your body is unable to digest the carbohydrates you consume. This makes absorbing nutrients and burning calories very difficult. Meanwhile, when a person has a high metabolic rate, excess carbohydrates are converted into fat easily.
Most of us always say one meal doesn’t make a difference, however, it often adds up when done frequently. The result is the extra weight gradually showing most commonly on the tummy, neck and hips.
Times like these, you’ll take supplements to take control of your rapidly increasing waistline.
Junk food, sedentary lifestyle, lack of a balanced diet and a slow metabolism have possibility made you fat. Don’t blame yourself; it’s not your fault. You were born in an obese environment. Everywhere you look; you’ll find delicious fatty foods and sugar infused soda. Paired with TV and video games, it’s a recipe for disaster.
Don’t worry – now is the time to act. Take Rapid Tone diet pills to help you naturally burn fat from your body.
Rapid Tone is weight loss pills that are made of natural ingredients proven to help you lose weight. Studies have shown the following ingredients can help you slim down faster.
Here’s a breakdown of the ingredients used in Rapid Tone weight loss pills:
Garcinia Cambogia is composed of HGA – Hydroxycitric Acid. This chemical helps control the amount of calories you eat, especially if you are eating a balanced and healthy diet. To prevent fat production, HGA blocks actions of a hormone known as Citric Lyase. In the absence of this particular hormone, fat will not accumulate inside the stubborn areas of body, such as arms, belly and thighs. Indirectly, this increases fat metabolism i.e. you will see exciting results in losing weight and fat.
Scientifically known as Panax, Ginseng is known as the fleshy root of evergreen plants. It is used for multiple uses and one of its main advantages is in weight control.
Studies suggest that both, American & Asian Ginseng are very potent and have outstanding weight controlling properties. However, they worked quite differently. While the American Ginseng stabilizes mood and reduces stress levels, the Asian Ginseng increases stamina and energy levels, making the brain more alert.
A Harvard study was conducted in 2012, which declared Ginseng to be a powerful metabolic booster. The people who did research on this study were able to prove a strong connection between intake of Ginseng and increase of carb metabolism. Ordinarily, the body releases a small number of carbohydrates and the rest are used to store fat inside the body. When Ginseng is released inside the body, it boosts up the metabolic rate, so that more carbs start giving energy. Ginseng also contains saponins – a powerful anti-fat compound which also help increase metabolic rate.
Another astounding claim was made by another study in Harvard. Researchers answered the question of ‘what makes Ginseng so potent?’ It was found out that Ginseng is rich in terms of a chemical compound Ginsenoside Rg3. When Ginseng is ingested, the Ginsenoside Rg3 blocks cell differentiation, cutting the supply of fat storage.
The third main ingredient, used in Rapid Tone diet pills is Forskolin – a member of mint family. Since ancient times, Forskolin was used as a wonderful medicinal herb.
Recent research proves that Forskolin is rich in Catechins & caffeine, both responsible for increasing your metabolic rate. Remember, a higher metabolic rate means that body is burning fat at a faster rate, as compared to slow metabolic rate which body fat is being stored.
Other scientific studies have shown that Forskolin improves your digestive system and also soothes body at times of constipation. There are also minor ingredients in Forskolin, which decrease anxiety and nervous tension.
Using Forskolin is recommended because anxiety and stress are directly related to excessive weight gain.
“How do we use Rapid Tone?” We get this question a lot. Let us tell you: all the ingredients mentioned above will do wonders for your body if you take them in a correct amount.
The Rapid Tone weight loss pills will only be effective if you commit to a weight loss program. In the end, Rapid Tone dieting pills are just a supplement and if you are not conscious about your food intake, you may never achieve the desired benefits.
Recommended intake – According to the manufacturer, it is important to take two pills daily. While you may feel excited and think about gobbling more pills to shed more pounds, let me tell you, it does not work that way. The body needs nutrition in a balanced way. Failure to comply will only disturb the harmonic balance of the body.
Take the pills with a gap of an hour (at least), before and after meals. The hour long gap is suggested because during that time, the body fully digests your food and then shifts its focus towards our Rapid Tone weight loss pills.
One more thing, consistency is important in taking the Rapid Tone dieting pills. The effects are slow, optimistic and long term, so prepare your mind about the journey of taking Rapid Tone dieting pills. Two pills a day, with a healthy diet and you’ll start feeling a positive change in yourself.
As compared to other weight loss pills and programs, a lot of people arbitrarily take weight loss pills and results are visible quickly, however, since the meds do not target the root of the problem, the effects are soon gone and people find themselves in a bigger mess than they started.
Rapid Tone dieting pills work slow and steady, eliminating the root cause of your obesity. You feel healthy, energetic and start observing the effects in around a month.
Rapid Tone dieting pills help suppresses your appetite. You naturally won’t feel the need to eat more. When you eat moderately, intake of calories is less and helps you consume the fat which your body has already stored. Your old fat gets used and it doesn’t get replaced – thanks to Rapid Tone dieting pills.
The ingredients of Rapid Tone boost your energy levels. With more energy, you can give more time to your exercise and burning more calories.
Rapid Tone pills specifically target areas of body from which fat is difficult to remove – hips, belly and arms etc. I’m sure you must have seen people who are quite thin but carry a flabby belly, distorting their outer appearance. That’s because belly fat is harder to remove than fat in other parts of the body.
This product is safe for diabetic patients because its contains Ginseng, which is known to boost metabolism of carbohydrates, without adversely affecting blood and sugar levels. As for Rapid Tone side effects, you can still contact your physician before taking the pills.
Garcinia Cambogia is present in Rapid Tone dieting pills which helps in production of serotonin, via the actions of HCA. It is important to produce serotonin in body, because it helps stabilize your mood. With a good mood and low anxiety, you will be all set to start your journey of weight loss, in a healthy manner.
Rapid Tone has seen its fair share of growth in the weight loss market. It’s very popular however there is a problem. There are some people, who want to benefit off our hard work.
They try to sell their own questionable formulas, under Rapid Tone’s name. Placing your trust in our brand, you might even get to purchase these questionable formulas. When it fails to give results, you would naturally feel disappointed in our brand.
Because of this, we would highly recommend to purchase Rapid Tone dieting pills only from the official website. The best part about buying from the official website is that you are buying directly from the manufacturer. There won’t be any sort of fraud.
Please click on the link, fill out the form and purchase the product. In no time, you will receive the product and you may begin your Rapid Tone weight loss treatment.

Today, teaching kids to have healthy habits is a daunting task. Whether it’s making them eat vegetables or to use their potty trainer, parents have no choice but to repeat the same steps over and over again until their kids eventually learn to do it without supervision. One habit that so many kids have trouble remembering to do is combing their hair.
It isn’t that hard to do but hair untangling and yanking is quite painful for both kids and parents. Fortunately, Tangle Pets created a solution that make kids enjoy combing their hair.
Tangle Pets claim to transform the hair brushing chore into quality time where kids can enjoy combing their hair with positive affirmations all at the same time. This review is to showcase Tangle Pets and see its purpose, the products offered, and its overall price factor.
Tangle Pets, to put is simple, are combs that have stuffed animals attached. The design is to motivate children to comb their hair willingly and with a smile. The inspiration of Tangle Pets came from a mother who had enough watching her child suffer combing and untangling her hair.
It’s widely accepted that combing is a healthy habit since it stimulates the scalp and increases blood flow. Subsequently, combing results in healthy hair. Tangle Pets brings about healthy hair without the pain combing causes.
Tangle Pets is currently offering five combs to choose from. The combs are differentiated by the stuffed animals attached. Otherwise, the bristles, size and overall quality are basically the same.
The different stuffed animals attached to the combs are the kitty, lion, ladybug, puppy and a turtle.
The animals on the combs are a great design addition to which children can choose their favourite animal adding fun to combing. Furthermore, the combs are convenient as the stuffed animals are removable and machine washable.
Combing hair results in easier detangling and loosens up dirt, grime, and other substances that can reach a child’s hair. Dirt not only worsens hair health, but it may lead to dry scalp. Dry scalp often results to itchiness and dandruff which is an inflammation of the scalp. Not to mention, regular combing is just proper hygiene with all children must practice.
Combing a child’s hair can be a very unpleasant since most often than not, it comes with tears, stress, and screams.
While the Tangle Pets concept may seem rather simple, its foundation is the fact that children should see combing as a positive and fun activity.
The Sleep Styler is a hair care product which allows the user to go to bed with wet hair and wake with perfectly styled curls in the morning. Designed by self-taught inventor and entrepreneur Tara Brown, it was Shark Lori Greiner’s investment which helped the Sleep Styler to make $100 million in retail sales in 6 months.
This innovative product is so much more than just hair curlers. Sleep Styler rollers are soft and comfortable, designed for wearing in bed. After an evening shower or bath, towel dry hair and set the Sleet Styler rollers. When you wake, just tidy your perfectly formed curls. Available in a range of sizes depending on the desired curl size, the Sleep Styler won’t damage hair like traditional heat-based hair-styling products. Plus, as the style is set from damp, it will hold longer too.
In 2013, after only 5 months in business, Rachel Bernstein and Melissa Barone pitched Cashmere Hair Clip-in Extensions to the Sharks in the Shark Tank. Although they left the Tank without a deal, the company has risen to the top of the hair extension industry and has become known for providing some of the best quality clip-in hair extensions available.
Cashmere Hair Clip-in Extensions can be styled and clipped into the hair in just matter of a few minutes. Using 100% human hair, this high-quality hair extension lasts up to a year and blends very well with your own hair. The easy “Do-it-yourself, Snap and GO” extensions are undetectable and look like your own hair. Their product range has now grown to offer over 30 shades, including lavenders and pinks, as well as offering different length options and ponytails. With Cashmere Hair Clip-in Extensions, there is a perfect match for every type of hair.
Controlled Chaos anti-frizz and curl taming products, created by curly-haired stylist Alanna York, were presented on the Shark Tank in 2016. York had spent decades refining her hair care formulas to create soft, touchable, frizz-free textured curls. Her curly-haired clientele loved Controlled Chaos, and so did the general public when they saw it on Shark Tank. “I’ve had women cry when they see how well it works for them,” says York.
From its rave reviews, Controlled Chaos seems to work wonders for those with extremely unmanageable curls. The company is also reassuringly eco-conscious. Controlled Chaos products are made with U.S.-sourced organic ingredients and packaged in BPA-free bottles. Plus, one percent of all sales benefit the environment through “1% for the Planet”. They even offer a “Curl Happiness Guarantee”, offering customers their money back if the product doesn’t fully satisfy. If you struggle with unmanageable or frizzy curls, there is nothing to lose in giving Controlled Chaos a try.
CreaProducts brought innovation in home hair cutting to the Shark Tank with the CreaClip. The CreaClip, along with a range of other home beauty products, was presented to the Sharks in 2016 and Lori Greiner snapped up the opportunity to invest $200,000 for 22.5% equity in the company.
The inventor of the CreaClip is Mai Lieu, a professional hairdresser who studied under Toni & Guy, Sebastian and Wella, and Vidal Sassoon, and is the proud recipient of 7 first-place international hairdressing awards. The CreaClip is a gripped hair slide which is placed around the section of hair to be cut. Using the connected spirit level, you can always ensure a straight line. The CreaClip is then tilted to the desired angle to create beautiful bangs or a perfectly trimmed fringe. It is even suitable for cutting or trimming shorter hair. The CreaClip is easy-to-use, small and compact, and incredibly precise.
Not so much a product designed to care for your hair, DrainWig is a hair related product nonetheless. This nifty little device very simply catches hair in the drain and prevents clogs. Jennifer and Gifford Briggs presented DrainWig to the Sharks in late 2017. Loving the product, Kevin O’Leary, Mark Cuban, and Lori Greiner all fought to make a deal with the pair. After agreeing to a $300,000 investment for 15% of the business from Kevin O’Leary, DrainWig has since made over $14 million in sales.
Its simplicity makes DrainWig so popular. The DrainWig Hair Catcher features a small, star-shaped piece of plastic with a small chain dangling beneath it. When placed into the drain, the chain will catch all hair going down, preventing clogs and the need for using harmful unblocking chemicals. The DrainWig is then disposed of and replaced after a few months. Simple, clever, and it works! Everything that a good Shark Tank product should be.
Adam Rauch and David Hensley brought Laid Brand to the Shark Tank in 2017, and presented their range of hair products enriched with pheromones. The pheromones in Laid Brand products can help enhance color, in addition to protecting and hydrating hair.
The entrepreneurs failed to land a deal with the Sharks, who were put off by the provocative nature of the name. However, the general public were less concerned about the name, and more interested in how well the product worked. And Laid Brand Rockin’ Multipurpose Hair Oil works. The ingredients chosen in the Laid Brand range all feature health promoting properties. The pheromones not only condition and nourish the hair, they are also designed to give a boost of confidence. These products will leave you and your hair feeling fabulous!
There is unfortunately one hair care area which hasn’t seen many related products coming through the Shark Tank, and that’s hair loss. With hair loss affecting 80% of men at some point in their lives, we thought it important to include a reliable product for combating hair loss on our list. Our research found Folexin.
The sharks from Shark Tank are unmistakable: Lori Greiner, Mark Cuban, Barbara Corcoran, Robert Herjavec, Daymond John, and Kevin O’Leary. 7 of the best products by far that have emerged to the public eye because of this show are following:
This brand sells Christmas-themed clothes and was invented by Evan Mendelssohn and Nick Morton, who are an attorney and dental surgeon, by profession, respectively. They got the idea by thinking that they should capitalize on ugly sweater parties. The start of this idea involved $140,000 of their savings to start the company. They made themselves unique from other ugly sweaters by using higher-quality material that is usually found in ugly sweaters. They also decided to partner with Save the Children that gives a portion of profits to an organization that offers help to children with no winter clothing in the US. Robert Herjavec partnered with them, when he got a 10% stake for $100,000. To date, Tipsy Elves has hit more than $70 million in sales selling over 2 million products. http://sharktanktales.com/tipsy-elves-shark-tank/
Cookies in a jar: genius! This one was presented by a mother and daughter called Dani Vilagie and Tracey Noonan. Kevin O’Leary partnered with them by offering $75,000 for royalties instead of equity. He got a dollar for every cupcake sold until he got his money back, and then from there the rate for what he got decreased to fifty cents. He got his money back within 74 days!) In season four when this deal struck, the company has 4.8 million dollars annually since. Vilagie and Noonan began their story with taking a cake-decorating class, started posting their photos online, and soon they were getting requests to have their goods shipped to people. Since they were in a quandary about how was a good way to ship baked goods, and there really is not if you are trying to find an economical and yet safe way for the goods to get there, they thought of the unique idea of putting a cupcake in a jar. Most of the sales are done online, but there is a physical location in Faneuil Hall in Boston and at its original location in Cohasset. In addition to cupcakes in a jar, one can now buy French macaroons and soon will be selling $8-cheesecake jars. https://www.bizjournals.com/boston/blog/startups/2014/03/a-year-after-shark-tank-appearance-wicked-good.html
This skin care product brand broke though the markets, especially now that everyone is trying to be so health-conscious. Mark Cuban struck the deal with Lani Lazzari for $100,000 with Cuban getting a 33% stake in the ownership of the company. Now it is a thirty million dollar company. The product has helped millions of customers with sensitive skin. It cleans, exfoliates, and moisturizes the skin in one step to avoid aggravating the skin and over-drying it. It all started in 2005 when Lazzari started started testing natural ingredients from her mom’s kitchen and it worked! She handed out her products to friends and family members and the products helped them too. https://www.simplesugarsskincare.com/pages/our-story
Aaron Krause is the man who got a deal with Lori Greiner, who got a twenty percent stake in his company’s ownership for $200,000. This little smiling reusable sponge has gotten $170 million dollars in sales in 40,000 US markets. The Scrub Daddy is made with patented FlexTexture that makes it firm yet completely absorbent and compactable. This sponge also is safe on over a dozen different household surfaces, because it’s soft enough to not scratch. The FlexTexture dries within an hour and was lab tested to ensure that odors so not attach for up to 8 weeks. The smile makes him able to clean utensils on both sides with one swipe! https://scrubdaddy.com/scrub-daddy-original/
This one is for those who want to learn guitar in an easy and fun way that is visual and literally hands on, without a live teacher needed. Travis Parry is the man who invented originally for his daughter. Herjavec closed the deal with Perry for $175,000 for twenty percent equity. John Rich who is a country star is the spokesperson for the comp;nay, and now, the company is racking up more than two million dollars in sales every year.
This one is a cute, portable, handy, bpa-free and phthalate-free soppy cup with a flexible straw for toddlers and an adorable birds design on the cup. It was not surprisingly invented by Mark and Hanna Lim, a happily-married couple. They partnered with Cuban and Herjavec for $100,000 and the two sharks got 40% equity. The prodoct’s sales have exceeded two million dollars.
Maria Curcio and Veronica got something to happen on the show that does not usually happen: all five sharks wanted to invest in thise on. It comes with packs to test for early detection and prevention of bedbugs. All the sharks collectively paid them $250,000 and the sharks got a twenty five percent interest on the company. Sales are at $1.2 million for this product.
Roy Ash once said, “An entrepreneur tends to bite off more than he can chew hoping he’ll quickly learn how to chew it.” This is the case for many entrepreneurs who get the privilege to appear on Shark Tank. Sometimes the Sharks roll with it, other times entrepreneurs don’t stand a chance. Lindsey Laurain from Colorado certainly fit this mold quite well during her 2015 appearance on Shark Tank.
Lindsey and her husband Brad were fed-up during meal times with their messy kids. As a busy mom of 3 young children, she decided to come up with a solution for less mess and faster clean up after meals.
Lindsey dreamed up The ezpz Happy Mat, an all-in-one silicone mat and bowl that suctions directly to flat surfaces, preventing children from knocking plates and other dishes onto the floor or throwing it during tantrums. This idea was unique, as nothing like this had previously existed when she desperately looked for this kind of product.
The ezpz Happy Mat comes in various cheerful colors and has a cute, friendly face that helps separate the food for the child. It’s also durable and safely made from 100% food-grade silicone, free from BPA, BPS, PVC, latex, phthalate, and other harmful chemicals. Silicone is often praised for its inability to grow mold, bacteria, or fungus. The mats are also stackable, making meal prep for many mouths manageable. This feature also makes it very easy to stack them for storage.
Lindsey had her children’s health and future in mind when making this mat, as the happy face makes up three compartments with plenty of room for appropriate servings of fruits or veggies, proteins, and carbs. The compartments are deep enough to accommodate cereal with milk or pasta. The point of the Happy Mat is to help engage the children in the natural behavior of self-feeding. This helps them to develop their fine motor skills.
What’s even better is that the mat is both dishwasher and microwave-safe. It can even be used in the oven (up to 350 degrees Fahrenheit). Genius, right? What parent wouldn’t want this for their young children with all of these amazing benefits? Countless times I have watched my niece, and nephew (ages 5 and 8) manage to get cake, spaghetti, and other soft foods pretty much everywhere else but their mouths.
Lindsey funded the development and production of the ezpz Happy Mat through Kickstarter, raising over $70,000. After appearing at a kid’s expo in Las Vegas, she made multiple contacts with industries that were willing to potentially sell her product. The only problem was that she needed more money for the logistical operations and production numbers. To make this a reality, she applied to be on Shark Tank.
Unfortunately, things didn’t go so well from the very beginning of the shower. She had lost their support immediately when she offered only 5% stakes in exchange for a significant 1 million dollar investment. Obviously, she did not do her research in who she was dealing with and the typical offers the Sharks would bite at.
She was interrupted immediately by comments from the Sharks but smiled politely and carried on gracefully with her pitch. She proceeded to show a short video of her children chaotically making a mess while eating so that others could relate, then demonstrated to the Sharks how efficiently the Happy Mat could work. After demonstrating this, she showed a second video of a more organized and peaceful meal while her children used their Happy Mats.
Lindsey told the Sharks that the Happy Mat would be selling for $25 and 50% profit margin belonged to her for each unit. Kevin O’Leary immediately wanted to know more info about the sales, forewarning her that sales would need to be significantly high to gain support.
Lindsey, again, did not do so well for herself when she admitted she was initially was going to come to the tank with a valuation five times higher than what she had just stated. She quickly continued to lose the trust of the Sharks, who had been burned before, but just as quickly she tried to shift into damage control mode by telling them that 2014 had brought gross sales worth over $1.2 million.
The Sharks were not taking the bait, even when she stated that she had been in contact with around 400 international distributors who were interested in her product.
Lindsey was asked if the product had been patented, to which she replied that it was still pending. The Sharks displayed their disappointment before they started to circle in for the final attack. When asked about her profits, she admitted she was only at 14%, not 50%. They scoffed 5-year projected $20 million.
While Robert had laughed at Lindsey’s answers to his questions, Kevin, who had been teeming with rage with clenched hands, at one point stated, “I’m trying to be kind before I absolutely eviscerate you.”
Lindsey tried to remain confident but the Sharks seemed to see right through it. Robert and Lori had dropped out, but Kevin, who had been the most agitated of all, gave a conditional offer, taking the 5% for $1 million, but if she didn’t get to $10 million as she promised, he would get 20% instead. Barbara had made a similar offer.
Lindsey, still licking her wounds from the attacks, declined the offers and left the Sharks. Later, when asked about her experience, she stated that she had declined the offers because they “Didn’t feel right”— following her intuition.
Since her unpleasant experience with the show, the popularity of the product sky-rocketed. The mat is now a highly reviewed award-winning product and available on Amazon and various other websites, currently rated 4.5/5 stars.
It goes to show that if you truly believe in something, you have everything you need to make it happen. Perhaps the Colorado mom will invent more products that will stick, just like her mats, to more companies, changing the lives of frustrated parents everywhere!
When we talk about wireless video doorbells we talk about security on the whole, and when we talk about security we talk about a demanding product. From celebrities to normal people that are looking for the ideal accessory that allows them to have total control of their front door whether their home or away.
The video doorbells that have the highest ratings thanks to their security features are made by Ring formally known as Doorbot (when it famously appeared on Shark Tank and went on to be acquired by Amazon for 1 billion!), and Skybell. But which one is better? Here on this article we’re going to analyze Skybell vs Ring and see which one is superior.
When Jamie Siminoff went on ABC’s “Shark Tank” to try and pitch his company “Doorbot” in 2013, he presented his invention a WiFi-enabled doorbell that allows you to see video of and talk to people as they arrive at your front door without you being at home, this seemed as not a profitable deal at the time for the judges except for Kevin O’leary, who made an offer but did not make the cut for Siminoff. Meaning doorbot did not make a deal, which left him devastated.
Always in life bad times will lead to great times
“I remember after that ‘Shark Tank’ episode literally being in tears,” he tells CNBC Make It. “I needed the money, we were out of money at the time.”
He spent $10,000 into building props for the pitch, and the company’s staff of 8 had spent 1 month preparing for the show, After leaving the show without no investor, it seemed all efforts were made in vain. The critiques from investors like Mark Cuban and Lori Greiner about the product’s ability to sell were fresh objections mirroring others doubts about his idea.
Those people may wish they had paid more attention. The business, now rebranded as Ring and offering a suite of connective home security products, has seen immense growth since Siminoff appeared on “Shark Tank.”
It has now been a couple years since ‘Shark Tank,’ the business is now valued a fortune and was sold to amazon for $1.2-$1.8 billion, talk about blessing in disguise!
So now that we know the company background let’s get down to the details and check out their features.
What’s likable about the package of Ring is that it comes with everything you need to install the doorbell. The Ring Wi-Fi Enabled Video Doorbell can also be installed on any surface, including wood, stucco and cement. The package includes the following items:
The Ring Wireless Doorbell works with iOS® and Android™ mobile device. The minimum requirements are iOS 7.1+ and Android 4.0+. Wi-Fi internet connection (802.11 b/g/n 2.4Ghz).
You can connect the Ring to your existing doorbell wiring, or use the built-in battery.
The concept is really simple. Someone presses your doorbell, the signal travels through your Wi-Fi network and reaches your phone.
As soon as you see the notification on your smartphone and open the Ring application, you’ll be able see who’s standing next to your door, you can talk to him/her directly and have a two-way conversation. The best part is that the visitor can’t see you.
if you’re at work or far from home, the system still allows you to answer the door.
The video quality of Ring is quite good and captures in 720p HD.
The motion detection feature is really sensitive and perfectly does its job.
When someone approaches your door the sound of a chime will ring through your phone and you can launch the app and talk to him directly.
Or you can use Ring’s cloud recording, save the video and watch it later.
The camera, as we said, has a 720p HD video quality which is pretty good.
Ring has a 180-degree field of view, which is practically enough for any type of home.
And lets not forget Ring’s ideal night-vision, it gets a clear image of visitors that come in the night.
Skybell is Ring’s biggest competitors and is one of the most top-rated wireless doorbells. The skybell company has been trying to update their features with the new “Skybell HD”
By innovating features and visual aspects, Skybell offers a efficient doorbell that perfectly serves its owner and home.
It works with 5 steps:
After you’ve attached Skybell you’ll have to download the Skybell app and register.
Skybell is a round, 2.8 inches in diameter and 0.8 inches thick doorbell. It comes in two color, Silvery Brushed Aluminum and Oil Rubbed Bronze.
Skybell works with the wires and can be powered with built-in batteries. Note, that skybell should be connected to a low-voltage transformer.
Compared to Ring, Skybell has a slightly dull resolution (640-by-480-pixel) and the field of view is 130-degree (Ring boasts with a 180-degree field of view).
The features of Skybell doorbell are:
The motion sensor of Skybell is really good but it lacks the ability to adjust the motion sensitivity and another drawback of Skybell is that you can’t record videos like Ring can. But don’t think everything’s bad news, it features a different quality which gives you an option to watch live from your phone, and allows you to take snaps of things happening outside.
And the winner is…
After detailing both Ring and skybell devices i’ve came to the following conclusions:
Summing up the comparison of Skybell and Ring, i would have to give the #1 spot to Ring, just cause it has more positive reviews and a better design overall making it the top-rated and the best-seller wireless doorbell. But if you’re still willing to purchase Skybell, don’t have second thoughts, as it is also a very efficient doorbell with good features.
We’ve seen how things could change drastically so let’s see what the future holds for Skybell, it definitely has the potential to steal the #1 spot from Ring.

With the dream pad pillow, getting home after a hard of work will be something you look forward to every evening.
Most people might not consider this a gift. But, safety is the best gift you can give your loved ones. Research has shown that most fires are caused by an unattended stove but here is a device that changes that. FireAvert is a simple plug-in device that works as an emergency breaker that cuts the power to a range that has caught fire before it gets out of control. With this product then you ensure that you are not among the many victims of a disastrous kitchen fire.
The best thing about this as a gift is that it is functional and you don’t have to worry whether you’re getting it for a guy or a lady. It is a thoughtful piece that could potentially save lives in the future.

How often do you cringe in pain seeing your child topple over their bike because they pressed the front brakes too hard? Do you want to buy a bike as a gift to a nephew, niece or even your own child but the thought of the “head over handlebars” incident is hold you back? The Guardian Bike might be the solution you have been hoping for.
The brakes on the bike are controlled by one handlebar squeeze rather than two as is the case in most bicycles. This means that your child will focus on being balanced and will also be aware of his surroundings rather than squeezing two pumps at once.
The bike is made with safety as a priority. It takes a lot of effort to concentrate on keeping balance when riding. For children, it might not come easy and having less equipment without affecting the functionality of the bike could go a long way in helping them concentrate on what matters – balance.
Now you have a variety of gifts to get for your family or your friends. They actually bring people together and you do not have to wait for a special occasion just to give one. All you have to do is buy one and give it to them or even gift yourself. With these great gift suggestions, you will never run out of ideas no matter what the occasion is.
What’s more, these gift ideas are not only ideas. They have been used by other people who are quite impressed with their design and ability to deliver. You will be giving a great gift that won’t disappoint.

Co-founders Geoff Woo and Michael Brandt entered the Shark Tank during the 8th season, with the highest company valuation every given on the show. Nootrobox was a San Franciscan start-up which made energy and productivity supplements.
Nootrobox presented the Sharks with their latest product, Go Cubes, chewable coffee-infused gummy cubes designed to boost productivity, energy, and brain power. Before their appearance on Shark Tank, Nootrobox was already making a successful profit. In 2014, they made $55,000 in sales, and had made a total of $1 million in sales-to-date when they appeared on Shark Tank. They also reported about 17% month-over-month growth at this point. And while these numbers may look good, the Sharks didn’t seem to fully understand the product or its applications.
Woo and Brandt were asking for an investment of $2 million from the Sharks in exchange for 5% in the business. This indicates a company valuation of a staggering $40 million, the highest company valuation in Shark Tank history. The Sharks focused on the valuation, which the pair compared to investing in Apple. This was not a popular analogy at this point in the proceedings. Woo and Brandt also felt they weren’t given ample opportunity to explain how this product worked.
The Shark investors were all unfamiliar with this type of product, its market and the potential applications. Lori Greiner told the pair that they were very science-orientated but not sales-orientated. Kevin O’Leary said “I think you guys are flying very close to the sun”. Nootrobox ultimately left the Shark Tank without a deal.
While the Sharks may not have understood the potential of Nootrobox, the general public certainly did. After the Shark Tank episode aired, Google searches for their signature product, Go Cubes, spiked and sales vastly increased. They made enough money to invest in further R&D, and develop a full product range.
Nootrobox make supplements designed boost memory, enhance mental clarity, and improve sleep patterns. They use a combination of caffeine and nootropics.
Their website classifies nootropics as the following: “Nootropics are a broad classification of cognitive-enhancing compounds that produce minimal side effects and are suitable for long-term use. These compounds include those occurring in nature or already produced by the human body (such as neurotransmitters), and their synthetic analogs.” This concept is related to bio-hacking, the idea that we can tap into, and enhance, human ability.
Nootrobox offer four specific nootropic “stacks”, or combinations of ingredients, which, when used together, offer “a complete toolkit to provide energy & focus, improve memory, protect your brain and body, and improve sleep quality.”
These four nootropic stacks are:
Rise – A daily nootropic to enhance memory, stamina and mental resilience. This blend includes 300mg of bacopa monnieri, 300mg of rhodiola, and 300 mg of alpha GPC. Bacopa has been used for thousands of years and is one of the most well-researched Ayurvedic herbs. Rhodiola is a powerful adaptogen with anti-fatigue properties, and alpha GPC is an incredibly effective source of raw choline (water-soluble vitamin-like essential nutrient).
Sprint – This increases alertness while reducing stress, and provides 4-6 hours of “flow state to get the job done”. Sprint blends caffeine and L-theanine in a 1:2 ratio, which is well-founded scientifically.
Kado-3 – A daily omega-3 based nootropic stack to improve mood and protect the brain & body. This stack is their main omega-3 fatty acid (DHA / EPA) product, effective compounds for enhancing neurogenesis, the formation of nervous tissue. Kado-3 is probably best effective when used in conjunction with other Nootrobox products, and less effective than the other nootropics stacks when used alone.
Yawn – A non-habit-forming sleep aid to help you fall asleep faster, improve sleep quality, and wake up refreshed. Yawn uses magnesium citrate as a pre-sleep supplement. Whilst magnesium in other forms is a successful, non-addictive sleep supplement, there is a possibility that the citric acid from the citrate form can cause other issues with adrenal fatigue. This supplement is probably their least effective overall in its purpose, but again, when used in combination with the above nootropic stacks, can provide a good overall enhancing effect.
These products have all been thoroughly researched and have proven safe and effective. Their effects may differ from person to person, with some seeing no added value to their lives and others finding the physical and neural enhancements a massive benefit. So they are certainly worth a try if you are interested in trying nootropics and testing the concept of bio-hacking for yourself.
Hopeful entrepreneurs lucky enough to make it on to Shark Tank have the opportunity to pitch their ideas to the world’s most successful business people and investors. With nine seasons under its belt, Shark Tank viewers have seen almost every bad idea possible, from the Ionic Ear (a surgically implanted Bluetooth device) to the beer, golf course or football scented Man Candle. However, some ideas have become incredible success stories after receiving much needed investment from the Sharks. Here are some of the most successful products featured on Shark Tank.
Scrub Daddy is a smiling sponge designed to clean both sides of kitchen utensils at once. The clever sponge rinses clean of debris easily, becomes firm in cold water but soft in warm water, and has been lab tested to resist odors for two months. Lori Greiner saw innovation in its design in Season 4, and offered an investment of $200,000 for 20% equity.
Scrub Daddy is now available on QVC and can be found in Bed Bath & Beyond, Target, Walmart and Staples. Until Shark Tank, the company had made $100,000 in sales. Since the show, Scrub Daddy has gone on to make over $50 million, making it one of the greatest success stories to come from Shark Tank.
ResteREST is a magnetic eyeglass holder, designed to keep your glasses securely attached to your shirt. During Season 3 of Shark Tank, Rick Hopper pitched his invention to the Sharks and Lori Greiner bit. She invested $150,000 in exchange for a whopping 65% share of the company. The simple but popular product regularly sells out on QVC and according to Business Insider, ReadeREST made $13 million in revenue in the three years following its appearance on the show.
The Squatty Potty, designed by Bobby Edwards, is a toilet stool which raises the feet to help with constipation. In Season 6, ‘QVC Queen’ Lori Geiner knew this idea was marketable. She was joined by fellow Shark Kevin O’Leary and together they offered $350,000 for 10% equity. Within 24 hours of making the deal on Shark Tank, Squatty Potty saw $1 million in sales. This rose to $12.3 million in the first three months. They have since made a deal with Bed, Bath & Beyond and enjoy continued success.
Created by Charles Michael Yim, the BACtrack Mobile Smartphone Breathalyzer for iPhone and Android Devices ingeniously turns your smartphone into a breathalyzer. Not only does the product give an alcohol level reading, it can even hail a cab if required!
This innovative product made Shark Tank history in Season 5 by becoming the first product all five Sharks invested in. Yim was given $650,000 in exchange for 30% of the company and in 2014 the company was projected to make $10-12 million in revenue, based on pre-orders.
In Season 4, Evan Mendelsohn and Nick Morton pitched their idea for ugly Christmas sweaters to the Sharks. Before appearing on Shark Tank, Tipsy Elves had already made $600,000 after a year of sales, cashing in on the love for themed fun during the holiday season. Whilst considered a fleeting trend by some, Shark Robert Herjavec saw something more in the idea and invested $100,000 for a 10% stake in the company. He has since told Business Insider it was his most profitable and favorite investment of the show.
Since appearing on Shark Tank, the Tipsy Elves’ range of novelty “ugly” clothing has diversified and now includes everything from 80’s retro ski-suits to sweatbands and fanny packs emblazoned with the Star-Spangled Banner. In 2016, the company made $8 million and landed the license to mass produce the yuletide sweater Seth Rogen wore in the movie ‘The Night Before’.
Lani Lazzari was only 18 years old when she appeared on Season 4 of Shark Tank to pitch Simple Sugars. An all natural skincare range catering to those with dry or sensitive skin, Lazzari had carefully researched safe and gentle ingredients that smelled great for her Simple Sugars range. Mark Cuban decided to invest $100,000 in return for 33% equity.
Within 24 hours of her appearance on Shark Tank, sales of Simple Sugars products had jumped from $50,000 to $220,000. Within six weeks, this had hit an incredible $1 million. Today, Simple Sugars sells nationwide and internationally, employs a team of 22 people, appears in over 700 retail locations, and last year brought in over $3 million in revenue.
With a background in architecture, Max Gunawan brought his Lumio foldable magnetic-lamp to the Sharks during Season 6 of the show. An accordion style, fold away reading light in the guise of a book, Robert Herjavec invested $350,000 for a 10% share in Lumio.
In 2016, Lumio made $3 million in sales, appealing to a high-end, artistic audience. With an elegant and popular design, Lumio has been written about in many publications, from the Wall Street Journal to GQ Magazine, and was named as one of the “Top 10 Most Innovative Crowdfunded Companies” by Entrepreneur Magazine.
In Season 6, Former Navy SEAL Eli Crane and his wife Jen pitched the novel idea of Bottle Breacher to the Sharks. The company employed military veterans and manufactured elegant looking bottle openers out of .50-caliber bullets. Both Mark Cuban and Kevin O’Leary made a deal with the couple, investing $150,000 in exchange for a 20% stake in the business.
With demand increasing, O’Leary has said it was one of his most profitable investments from the show, with Bottle Breacher making $2.5 million in sales in 2017 and now employing 32 people.
Music teacher and parent Travis Perry created ChordBuddy after helping his daughter to learn to play guitar. ChordBuddy is a device which attaches to the neck of an electric or acoustic guitar and features colored tabs to help novices learn the instrument. Clever and effective, ChordBuddy impressed Shark Robert Herjavec when it appeared on Season 4 of Shark Tank. Herjavec invested $175,000 for a 20% share of the business.
ChordBuddy saw revenue of approximately $2 million in 2014 and has ensured its successful growth by attracting a company spokesperson in the form of John Rich, from the popular country duo ‘Big and Rich’.
Hold Your Haunches
Hold Your Haunches are shape-defining fashion trousers featuring an extendable waistband and an inner compression shell from the waist to the calf. The trousers are designed hold and sculpt the wearer’s shape via the dual contouring under layer and flowing outer layer.
In the year leading up to their appearance on Shark Tank in Season 5, creators Erin Bickley and Jenny Greer reported sales of $165,000. Six months after Sharks Barbara Corcoran and Lori Greiner invested $75,000 for 40% stake in the business (plus extended a $100,000 credit line), Hold Your Haunches saw more than $1.5 million in profits. Their fashion line has since expanded to include skirts, dresses, tops, and more, all featuring the same inspired shape-defining technology.
BuggyBeds was pitched by Veronica Perlongo and Maria Curcio on Season 4 of Shark Tank and acts as an early detection and prevention system for bed bugs. All five Sharks showed an interest in this inventive idea and split the $250,000 investment for 25% equity. Since then, BuggyBeds can be found in approximately 350 Home Depot locations, is sold in 23 countries worldwide, and is estimated to have made over $1.2 million in sales.
Lollacup, featured on Season 3 of Shark Tank, is an example of a very simple but clever product. Designed by Hanna and Mark Lim, this cute and colorful child’s ‘sippy cup’ allows infants to effectively drink from the straw without spillage. The flexible straw features a weighted end which anchors the liquid, allowing small children to drink with the cup tilted. Conveniently, there are no valves within, making it easy to clean.
Funded by Mark Cuban and Robert Herjavec, offering $100,000 for 40% equity in the company, Lollacup went on to make over $1 million in sales since appearing on Shark Tank and is stocked in Walmat. According to Business Insider, it is the most successful product for kids to come from the show.
Many Shark Tank products fall through because they’re either not functional, not practical, unaffordable, or simply not anything that a regular person would use during their daily life. However, the so-called Warm-Blood Shark Lori Greiner, one of the investors on the hit ABC show Shark Tank, knew this fitness board was an instant winner. Not only was the board easy to market – highly visual and engaging to viewers – it’s also an accessory than nearly anyone from any walk of life can use to improve their everyday fitness routine.
So what sits the Simply Fit Board apart from similar designs? It’s certainly not the first ever fitness or balancing board to hit the market. However, the Simply Fit Board is believed to be the first balance board with a rounded, curved design ideal for twisting. The twisting motion engages more of your core muscles, legs, and glutes than other competitors’ boards will, not to mention the fact that the fitness board can support up to 400 pounds of weight and most competitors can’t support more than 200-300 pounds!
How does it work, you may ask? It might look complicated or scary, but it really just takes some practice to get it right! Start by placing the board on the floor (rugs are ideal, and hardwood and slick linoleum are not recommended, as it risks slipping and sliding) and simply place one foot on the outer edge of the board.
There are textured circles on the board to act as a guide for you. Once you have one foot on, this will tip the Simply Fit Board to a flat, upright position. The next step is the part that requires a little confidence and faith. Hold on to a nearby wall or object if you need to and hop up with your other foot on the outer edge of the board.
Practice rocking yourself from side to side until you’ve found your center of gravity. Don’t be ashamed if it takes some getting used to! Once you feel secure in your balance, you can start twisting your hips in a semicircular motion. Be sure to be twisting from the waist, not your knees! Once you have the basics down, the rest is up to you.
The Simply Fit Board allows busy people to customize their workout. You can bring the board to the gym or simply workout straight from the convenience and privacy of your own home. You can focus only on balance or add some weights and other tools to get a more rigorous workout.
The Simply Fit Board is ideal for simple twists to burn away that pesky belly fat by directly targeting your core muscles. That’s why it’s so important you keep the twist limited to your waist while your legs and feet stay grounded. Some more advanced exercises involve using the Simply Fit Board as a place for your hands as you move from standing twists to pushups, plants, and any variation you can think of. Hand weights and ankle weights make great additions to the Simply Fit Board as they’re so versatile, allowing you to design a customized fitness routine.
The lightweight and portable Simply Fit Board comes in an array of bright colors, and since their success on Shark Tank, the company has expanded their product line somewhat. For instance, there are three DVD’s available at only $10 each, each with their own specific workout instructions. TheCore & BunsWorkout targets your abs and glutes, the Low Impact Workout is ultra-safe and ideal for beginners, and the 21 Day Challenge Workout guides viewers through three weeks of a follow-along program to get you on your way to your ideal body.
Additionally, the Simply Fit Board comes with an optional Simply Fit Mat, designed to place some traction between the mat and the floor if you find your flooring too slippery to work with the mat. The mat prevents slippage and keeps the board grounded so you don’t have to worry about falling.
Each purchase of the Simply Fit Board also comes with a user guide and a beginner workout DVD at no additional cost, which most users find extremely handy as they get used to the Simply Fit Board.
Don’t be discouraged if you’re struggling at first – it’s natural to take a little while before you can master the basic balance-and-twist technique.
The final verdict? We definitely recommend the Simply Fit Board if you’re looking for a beginner-friendly balance board. Sure, there are other fitness boards and accessories out there, but the Simply Fit Board was the first to come up with the patented curved design that lets you twist in a full 180° or even 360° range rather than just rocking from side to side.
And let’s not forget that the Simply Fit Board is fun – why would you lay on your back and do crunches when you can practice your balance and twist the fat away?!
